BGE DemonBall IFL Match 2 - Dec 30

OK sports fans, here we are once again at the beautiful old United Center in Chi-Town bringing you the second un-official IFL match of the year. This DemonBall match is being brought to you by MicroTel, Tomorrow’s information Today!

OK, today’s match is between the same four teams in Chi-Town’s first amateur DemonBall league. MicroTel has not yet heard from the IFL sanctioning board yet, so this is still an un-official IFL game. But what the heck, the fans still love the blood shed!

Once again we have Bobbie Sue’s Belles, the Vengequan team called Crying Wind, those Good ole boys from Tenn. the Red Dawn, and our sponsors team The MicroTel Marauders.

So it looks like our teams are all set, and there’s the gun.

Bobbie Sue moves her girls out cautiously, remembering the first match. The boys are next, surely they remember the last match where they lost have the team on the first turn. MicroTel is out, and now the Vengequan are out with no shooting, everyone being very careful.

Crying Wind is on the move, they’re out to get MicroTel the points leader early on it looks like. Stinking Forest takes a shot at Pvt. Johnson... oh he’s hit, but he shoots back and down goes Stinking Forest. Ouch our first two casualties. Now Soaring Eagle is lining up a shot at Sgt. Phemus, he shoots and down goes the sarge. MicroTel is in a bad position now.

Red Dawn moves carefully again, and they are set. But it looks like they are not safe, someone from the crowd has thrown a smoke bomb at Red Dawn. They’re having trouble seeing, Bobbie Sue has her girls run out, and Jessie May guns down the captain Billy Bob. Wait! while on his knees Billy Bob fires and takes Jessie May with him. whew, what action!

The Vengequan are moving again, they really want MicroTel blood. Soaring Eagle is drawing a bead on trooper Biltmore, but the Private sees the Vengequan and also fires his Spectralight and a miss by the trooper. Wow, MicroTel has one trooper left, looks like they will loose their points lead today folks.

Some careful maneuvering and Cloudy Waters jumps out from behind a wall and guns down Pvt. Loomis the sole MicroTel trooper then he makes a run and grabs the ball.

Bobbie Sue makes her move and lines up a shot and takes down Little Bear! Everyone else keeps themselves safe.

The belles are on the move again, the Vengequan team is having some trouble moving, looks like too much blood or bear on the floor, or both! Bobby Sue jumps out and pumps three rounds into Cloudy Waters then grabs the ball.

Look out, we have another smoke bomb in the arena, this time the Vengequan can’t see anything, Mary Jo of the belles takes advantage and swiftly takes out Soaring Eagle. Oh boy folks, two teams eliminated from the match. Now it’s a battle between Red Dawn and the belles. Oh no, another smoke bomb, this time ole Vernin can’t see a thing, and Cindy Sue pumps a round into him!

OK now, we have a two on two. Red Dawn moves around trying to get position on the belles, Jimmy ‘M’ jumps out from around the wall and unloads his double barrel at Bobbie Sue. Oh, that’s not a pretty sight folks. But wait, she not dead yet, she fires a quick round and catches Jimmy right in the gut, and you know what happens after being hit by a belles gun. He is out of it. Down to a one on one, Red vs. Cindy Sue, and the ball is loose.

They’re moving around for position, this is tense, Red has moved to the wall, and Cindy Sue is right on the other side. Just two feet of concrete separate these two, I wonder who will make the first move.

Oh my God, Cindy Sue is climbing the wall, Red looks up and fires at the same instant as Cindy Sue, and they both go down again! Another match ending with a simultaneous death. You just can’t ask for better excitement then that.

Well that’s a rap folks, lets look at the standings and we will see you back here again next week at the same time. That’s two points for the belles for possessions, one point for a possession for Crying Wind, and both Red Dawn and the belles get a point for match survivors.

So here is the league standings after 2 matches.

Bobbie Sue’s Belles:6 pts
MicroTel Marauders:4 pts
Crying Wind:2 pts
Red Dawn:1 pts

OK, that’s all for today, so signing off from the United Center in Chi-Town, I’m Rick O’Day, so long, see you all next week!
