Chi-Town MicroTel DemonBall Match 7 - April 28,1999

Well sports fans, here we are back at the beautiful old U T Center in Chi-Town bringing you the best in DemonBall action. This DemonBall match is being brought to you by MicroTel, Tomorrow’s information Today!

All righty, today’s match is the seventh match in the new season here in old Chi-Town. Once again the Black Rain Vengequan tribe is here with Howling Wind. The Cappalonni Family has a team, Whatsa Matta U. Then there are the two teams from the Gary Indiana Mutants, first there is The Ghoulies, and Team HERD. And last but certainly not least, we have team that has traveled all the way from Texas, representing DeadTech Systems Inc., The Bone Squad.

So teams are getting ready, so let’s rock and roll , and there’s the gun.

OK all the teams are out, and Howling Wind looks to make a fast grab for the ball today. Team HERD looks to keep their lead and moves towards the ball. Skull Duggery thinks differently blasting away at Slobber Mouth but hitting the wall as the Goathead runs from wall to wall. Now Snag Tooth runs past as Longshanks opens up, but he also misses!

Here comes Howling Wind, Yellow Cloud runs out for the ball, but Longshanks guns him down before he can reach the ball, but he fires back as he goes down, just catching Longshanks! Now Running Bear dashes out, Cartman sprays Running Bear with bullets, Running Bear is hit, he pivots and fires back, Cartman goes down as well. Soaring Eagle takes his turn, he’s out and he’s got the ball, possession to the Vengequan. Oh no.. look out, Slobber Mouth runs out and blasts Soaring Eagle, the ball is loose! There goes the rest of the HERD, all lined up ready to get the ball. Nicky the nose runs out and fires on Stinky from behind and hits the wall. Now Rocco comes out, but he doesn’t miss, down goes Stinky. Jimmy the fixer runs out and nails Bart in the back, Bart fires back and misses. Vinnie steps out and fires once, fires twice and Slobber Mouth goes down in a hail of lead, but wait, Slobber Mouth is getting up again, he fires and catches Vinnie right between the eyes. Now Slobber Mouth falls into a pool of blood. This is action folks, it just don’t get any better. The Ghoulies are on the move, Freak Acknon runs out and fires on the last Goathead, Snag Tooth fires back but misses as he falls, Team HERD is out! Freak #42 takes a shot and just catches Rocco.

Freak Nelson moves out and fires on Kilroy and his long coat catches fire, but stays in the match. Freak Acknon opens up on Nicky the Nose and blasts him with a belly shot. Skull Duggery opens up on Freak #42 and nails him but good, #42 shoots back but misses.

Kilroy still in flames finally falls and is out of the match. Freak Acknon fires on Skull Duggery again and misses, and Skulls return shot goes wide as well. Neal N Bob takes a crack at Skull Duggery but misses too, but here comes Freak Nelson, spraying fire over Skull Duggery. His coat bursts into flames, but he stays on his feet!

Skull Duggery is running while on fire, and he too succumbs to a fiery death, the Bone Squad is out! Freak Acknon takes a close range shot at Squatting Wolf and misses, but Neal N Bob doesn’t miss, Squatting Wolf returns the shot but it goes wide, and now the Vengequan are out. That leaves just Whatsa Matta U and the Ghoulies left. Freak Nelson runs out unopposed and snatches up the ball!

Freak Nelson moves out and sprays Jimmy the Fixer with his incendiary death and fries Jimmy on the spot. Jimmy fires back but the shot harmlessly goes wide. With that, the Orgs are out which leaves just the Ghoulies standing, and three of them too. Which means they get the Sole Survivor point and the win with two possessions!

So, let’s recap the match folks, Howling Wind gets 1 point for a possession, and The Ghoulies get 2 possessions and plus 1 point for being the sole survivor, and the win, 4 more points! This propels the Ghoulies into a commanding lead. So here is the league standings after 7 matches.
