Chi-Town MicroTel DemonBall Match 6 - April 20,1999
Well sports fans, here we are back at the beautiful old U T Center in Chi-Town bringing you the best in DemonBall action. This DemonBall match is being brought to you by MicroTel, Tomorrow’s information Today!
All righty, today’s match is the sixth match in the new season here in old Chi-Town. Once again the Black Rain Vengequan tribe is here with Howling Wind. The Cappalonni Family has a team, Whatsa Matta U. Then there are the two teams from the Gary Indiana Mutants, first there is The Ghoulies, and Team HERD. And last but certainly not least, we have team that has traveled all the way from Texas, representing DeadTech Systems Inc., The Bone Squad.
So teams are getting ready, so let’s rock and roll , and there’s the gun.
Howling Wind comes out and heads left. The Bone Squad is out and staying in cover as is Team HERD staying well back in their starting gate. Out comes Whatsa Matta U and last The Ghoulies are out.
Soaring Eagle runs out to the low wall and targets Slobber Mouth but hits the wall. Now Squatting Wolf tries the same and hits Slobber Mouth who returns the fire but hits the wall. Freak Acknon takes a long shot at Stinky and hits the wall.
Rocco comes out and Skull Duggery sprays the Org with fire taking him out! Now the Dead begin to move towards the ball, Jimmy the Fixer jumps out and blasts away at Cartman only to miss, Vinnie tries his hand, and fires once and twice but just can’t hit Cartman. The Orgs are headed for the wall in front of them, but Kilroy takes a shot and down goes Nicky the Nose, Jimmy fires back in revenge and misses Kilroy. Howling Wind is after the Goatheads again, Yellow Cloud runs out and nails Bart good, Stinky fires back and misses. Freak Nelson sends his incendiary gout towards Stinky and it looks as if Stinky is on fire!
Stinky goes down in flames, looks like he forgot to stop, drop, and roll! Soaring Eagle takes advantage of the commotion and comes out and drills Snag Tooth in the shoulder, the Mutants are out early in the match. While the Vengequan are out, Cartman fires on Soaring Eagle and gets him in the belly. Squatting Wolf returns the fire and blasts Cartman, while Longshanks targets Yellow Cloud but hits the wall. Running Bear fires long for Vinnie Gumba but misses, which prompts Vinnie to again fire twice, first missing but nailing Running Bear on the second shot! Jimmy the Fixer tries his luck, but fires wide on Squatting Wolf. Freak #42 sprays his fire on Longshanks, who bursts into flames. Longshanks fires back and hits Freak Acknon taking him out. Howling Wind turns on the Orgs as Yellow Cloud sends a burst at Jimmy and misses, but Kilroy fires and nails Yellow Cloud. Squatting Wolf tries to get Jimmy, but misses just the same.
Longshanks finally goes down in flames! And there goes Vinnie Gumba, making a run for the ball, but he gets gunned down by Squatting Wolf Vinnie quickly fires back and misses as Jimmy the Fixer grabs the ball! Skull Duggery takes aim at Jimmy but his shot hits the wall. Jimmy fires back hitting Skull Duggery, taking him down. Kilroy is out for revenge, he runs out and blasts Jimmy, the ball is loose, and Whatsa Matta U is out of the match! Squatting Wolf fires at Freak #42 as he heads for the ball and drops the Ghoul. Neal N’ Bob opens up at Squatting Wolf but sprays the wall, he shoots again and misses as the clock runs out on the match! Wow what a finish folks. We still have three teams on the board!
So, let’s recap the match folks, Whatsa Matta U gets 1 point for a possession, and since time ran out, there is no winner! So here is the league standings after 6 matches.
