Chi-Town MicroTel DemonBall Match 5 - April 14,1999
Well sports fans, here we are back at the beautiful old U T Center in Chi-Town bringing you the best in DemonBall action. This DemonBall match is being brought to you by MicroTel, Tomorrow’s information Today!
All righty, today’s match is the fifth match in the new season here in old Chi-Town. Once again the Black Rain Vengequan tribe is here with Howling Wind. The Cappalonni Family has a team, Whatsa Matta U. Then there are the two teams from the Gary Indiana Mutants, first there is The Ghoulies, and Team HERD. And last but certainly not least, we have team that has traveled all the way from Texas, representing DeadTech Systems Inc., The Bone Squad.
So teams are getting ready, so let’s rock and roll , and there’s the gun.
OK, here comes Team HERD moving out first, they get set up as The Ghoulies also are setting up. Howling Wind is moving straight out, looks like they will try to boost their points today! Here comes the Bone Squad and the Orgs from Whatsa Matta U.
The Goatheads are on the move, but wait, Freak Acknon takes a shot at Slobber Mouth and blasts him in the belly. The rest of HERD dives for cover, now the Vengequan are on the move, looks like they’re out to get the Bone Squad. Yellow Cloud fires on Longshanks and gets him before he made the wall. Running Bear shoots at Skull Duggery and hits the wall, and now Soaring Eagle tries to hit and also has his shot go wide. Last to fire is Squatting Wolf and he manages to tag Kilroy before he makes cover. Oh no, look out, a net has fallen over the Ghoulies, as they frantically try to get out, the Orgs are moving up for the kill. Acknon is out, but Nicky the Nose sprays the net and nails Freak #42, but he returns the fire and catches Nicky in the shoulder. Here comes Rocco, he shoots and hits the wall as Acknon dodges the fire. Freak Nelson opens up with his gun and pins both Jimmy the Fixer and Vinnie Gumba down. Cartman moves out for the Dead, and fires on the pinned Orgs and hits Jimmy while he’s pinned.
Howling Wind now moves on the Dead, and Yellow Cloud fires on Skull Duggery and misses. Running Bear does the same, but just can’t get the angle on Skull Duggery, so now Squatting Wolf tries his luck and ohh.. three’s the charm as Skull Duggery goes down in a hail of bullets. Another net falls over the Orgs, and Vinnie cuts his way out, but not Rocco. Stinky from the HERD comes around a wall and sprays the Vengequan and misses all of them. But here comes Snag Tooth, he fires on Running Bear who can’t duck out of the way, but Yellow Cloud gets down just in time. With Yellow Cloud down, Rocco tries to get him but hits the wall.
Rocco breaks free of the net and runs out gunning down Squatting Wolf. As the Ghoulies start breaking out of the net, the Goatheads spray the area but miss them, the Ghouls return the fire but also miss. Vinnie Gumba runs out now and unloads on Freak Acknon who shoots as he’s going down, and just gets Vinnie too! Rocco runs to save Vinnie but gets there too late but takes his revenge out on Neal N’ Bob right thru his neck. The HERD takes advantage of all the shooting and Snag Tooth drills the remaining Ghoul Nelson, the Ghoulies are out! Bart tries a long shot at Yellow Cloud and hits the wall. Yellow Cloud returns the shot but also misses. Snag Tooth shoots again but the shot goes wide, but Soaring Eagle doesn’t miss, he caught Snag Tooth as he came out for his last shot. Stinky breaks free of the net finally and runs out to gun down Soaring Eagle in revenge
The sole Bone Squad member, Cartman runs out and sprays the remaining Vengequan with deadly fire and takes Yellow Cloud and Howling Wind out of the match.
Another net falls over Stinky and Bart, Bart breaks out and targets Rocco who goes down with a bullet in the gut.
Cartman makes a run for the ball, but Stinky and Bart both open up and the Dead goes down in a hail of fire! The Bone Squad is eliminated, which leaves two members of Team HERD left standing with every one else out of the match!
So, let’s recap the match folks, Team HERD was the sole remaining team, so they get 1 point for being the match survivor, and there were no possessions. So here is the league standings after 5 matches.
