Chi-Town MicroTel DemonBall Match 4 - April 7,1999
Well sports fans, here we are back at the beautiful old U T Center in Chi-Town bringing you the best in DemonBall action. This DemonBall match is being brought to you by MicroTel, Tomorrow’s information Today!
All righty, today’s match is the fourth match in the new season here in old Chi-Town. Once again the Black Rain Vengequan tribe is here with Howling Wind. The Cappalonni Family has a team, Whatsa Matta U. Then there are the two teams from the Gary Indiana Mutants, first there is The Ghoulies, and Team HERD. And last but certainly not least, we have team that has traveled all the way from Texas, representing DeadTech Systems Inc., The Bone Squad.
So teams are getting ready, so let’s rock and roll , and there’s the gun.
OK, the Vengequan move out first and get set up, The Ghoulies appear ready to advance on Team HERD. Whatsa Matta U is being cautious, and out comes the Bone squad.
The Bone squad moves closer to the ball, but out jobs Soaring Eagle who fires at Skull Duggery and misses. and now Nicky the nose shoots at Skull Duggery and he misses too! Now Skull Duggery fires back at Nicky and takes him out in the shoulder. Look out! The crowd is firing on the players, everyone is ducking, but not Snag Tooth, the Team HERD captain jumps up on the wall and lays down a withering hale of fire and takes both Neal N’ Bob and Freak #42 out and quickly jumps back down! Now Stinky jumps up on the opposite wall, and fires on Yellow Cloud and takes him out. There goes Bart, jumping up beside Stinky and spraying Running Bear, but he hits nothing but wall. But Slobber Mouth runs over and leaps up and fires off a rapid succession of shots and takes Running Bear down. Look out, the Ghoulies are running out for revenge on the Goatheads, out runs Freak Acknon, he blasts Slobber Mouth and runs back. And of course Freak Nelson follows suit and fires on Stinky, the poor guy never even saw the shot! The Orgs are on the move, Vinnie Gumba pops out and nails Longshanks. Kilroy fires a spray of incendiary bullets back in return and misses Rocco, but it looks like his clothes have caught fire! Now Jimmy the Fixer fires on Cartman and hits the wall. Rocco fires back at Cartman and also misses. Now Squatting Wolf moves out and takes a shot at Rocco and takes a chunk out of the wall!
Rocco hasn’t been able to extinguish the flames on his clothes and he goes down! Jimmy the Fixer runs out and fires a rapid burst at Soaring Eagle and misses, but hear comes Vinnie Gumba, he fires on Soaring Eagle but hits the wall, he fires again, and misses yet again! Snag Tooth moves out and pops a quickie at Squatting Wolf but misses. Bart lays down and send a bullet towards Freak Acknon, who fires just as soon as he saw Bart and they both get hit and go down! Soaring Eagle sprays Jimmy the Fixer but all the shots go wide.
The Bone Squad is moving towards the ball, they’re making a run for it, but Soaring Eagle shoots and misses Skull Duggery and he moves around the wall. Here comes Kilroy, but Squatting Wolf shoots, and hits him, Kilroy’s down on his knees and raises his Deadchester up and fires and drills Squatting Wolf through the chest, and they’re both down! But Cartman grabs the ball, point to the Bone Squad! Jimmy the Fixer comes out and blasts Squatting Wolf. Here comes Vinnie, an it looks like he has Vengequan on his mind as he sprays the wall by Soaring Eagle, who goes down, which puts Howling Wind out of the match!
Snag Tooth runs out to try and pick off Freak Nelson and misses, Freak Nelson returns fire and hits Snag Tooth. As Snag Tooth goes down, he fires back again, but still misses. This puts Team HERD out of the match.
Skull Duggery moves out, and tries to nail Freak Nelson but misses. Now Vinnie Gumba tries to hit Cartman, but misses, he fires again, but it just hits the wall!
Bone Squad is trying to get away from Vinnie Gumba, but Vinnie jumps up on the wall and fires at Cartman, again hitting the wall, but he takes another shot and gets him! Cartman returns fire and takes Vinnie out as well. The ball is now loose!
Freak Nelson heads for the ball as well as Skull Duggery, they’re both in the open... they see each other and both open fire.....oh they both go down! That leaves Jimmy the Fixer as the sole survivor of the match from the Whatsa Matta U team. Now that was some ending folks!
So, let’s recap the match folks, The Bone Squad got 4 possessions for 4 points. Nobody else managed any possessions, which means that The Bone Squad gets the win and the additional 4 points. Whatsa Matta U was the sole remaining team, so they get 1 point for being the match survivor. So here is the league standings after 4 matches.
