New Jersey Report - Dann Kopko's Story: Part I

This story begins a few years before all of the United States were wasted.
New Jersey had been quarantined due to the sudden outbreak of purple pigment
throughout the New Jersey Population. Inside New Jersey it was business as
usual. The purple coloration seemed to have a positive effect on the
population. Though some died, from sudden heart attacks and their brains
exploding. Most seemed to have excepted this as a by product of living in
New Jersey.
We begin with a computer programmer named Dann Kopko. The only way to reach
the outside was by way of computer. Dann Kopko was one of Capinelli's top
hackers and he pretty much kept the family in tuned to with what was
happening on the outside as well as inside. Like everyone in the Family,
Dann Kopko did his stint with the police and his 2 years of guard duty.
A rival hacker who only went by the name Dossy kept Don Lenenardo in the
know. Joey Capinelli, better know as Lil' Joe saw Don Lenenardo making his
push for the head of all the families. Don Lenenardo utilized the information
that Dossy gained and found that nanites could make him immortal. Dann Kopko
who had already hacked into Don Lenenardo's system only knew that a weapons
shipment was coming in.
Dann Kopko told Lil' Joe about the shipment and a raid was scheduled.
Waiting in ambush, Lil' Joe saw something that he had never seen before. A
zombie cowboy, right out of Westworld. Then he saw a man with a big hat and
trench coat. Talking with Don Lenenardo. Then he saw the crates of what had to
be the weapons.
The attack only last a few seconds and Lil' Joe wanted that man in the large
hat dead or alive. But even though the Limo suffered a large amount of fire
power it drove off with 4 flat tires, the man had made his escape. The man left
not only the crates, he also left 2 of his zombie corpses. The technology was
so new it was terrifying. Don Lenenardo was still alive and later gave his
support that Lil' Joe should become the head of all the families.
There weren't any weapons in those crates. it was a bunch of test tubes
filled with nanites. Dann Kopko suggested that the stuff be buried and the
Capinelli Family agreed. It was buried under the local Strip Club and to
keep it safe. Dann Kopko was made the owner of Badda Bing, the first all nude
24/7 strip club.
The MegaComms lifted the quarantine on New Jersey. Mainly because there was
an entire population that didn't mind getting its hands dirty. The MegaComm
Corporations also realized that in New Jersey there wasn't any laws. Drink,
Smoke, do drugs, hookers - anything you wanted to do, the skies were the limit.
Lil' Joe welcomed all the new work and the pay was great. Sabotage, Theft,
Poisoning Water Systems, "No job too big, no fee too big" was the motto. It
was amazing the amount of things that were happening outside of Jersey.
Inside was a den of Sin and he was the law. Until a raid on a pigfarm ended
in disaster. Lil' Joe was dying from a gut shot and he knew he had to stay
alive. So he made a Deal with the newly formed MegaComm Security, the
NESP(North East State Police) and had the Badda Bing Raided. Dann Kopko was
arrested and taken to New York. To a redesigned Richter's Island. He was
placed so deep in the ground that no one would ever find him again.
Dossy who once worked for Don Lenenardo began building the cybernetic parts and
even transformed himself into a CybOrg. Lil' Joe lives and turned himself
into a cybernetic freak and has ruled for many years as the head of all 32
Familys in New Jersey. The other dons also joined Lil' Joe in their attempt
towards immortality.
Dann was trapped in his cell and the only thing keeping him warm at night
was his hatred for all MegaComms and most importantly for Lil' Joe for
selling him out. He lived off infected garbage and insects and drank the
polluted drops of water dripping into his cell (Later to be named Kah - by
the bipedal Rats). Kopko hallucinated all the time, yet was able to stay
focused on his goal - Kill Lil' Joe.
