DeadTech - Midwest HQ
In his quest for domination, Patrick Delancy has expanded his operations to the Midwest.
Headquartered in Chicago, Delancy has put an automation by the name of Sundown in charge.
Sundown has been charged with establishing the Midwest HQ and recruiting more candidates
for the corporation. Sundown has already proven himself in the past by organizing a strong
hold in southern Mississippi. He has moved into the old Merchandise Mart in the downtown area
of Chicago and set up the labs and assembly lines within the building. Everything has been set
up; all that is left is for Sundown to start recruiting!
Gothrats - Char-Town (Old China Town Section)
Within the Deep Tunnel under the streets of Chicago live the Gothrats following the most feared
Broodlord in all the Midwest, Chi-Ta'. Chi-Ta', a brutal albino Gothrat of large proportions,
leads his horde of rats through the sewers of Chicago, causing havoc and ruin where ever they go.
Raiding warehouses and stores, Chi-Ta' remains a thorn in the side of all who live in the Chicago
area. Especially to the MicroTel Corporation whose headquarters have been raided too many times
to count.
Scarlet Brethren - Char-Town (South side)
The man only known as Cutter started this Lodge when he was a young upstart of 23 years old.
Founding his lodge in Tennessee, he settled amongst the forest and hills of the Smokys with a
handful of followers. Soon they began to attract others as they saw the Light that he was
preaching. After some nine years he had an officially established and recognized Lodge within
the Scarlet Brotherhood known as Red Dawn. A much respected and feared man, he controlled the
area much like a dictator. With his network of Good 'OLE boys, there isn't much that got by him.
An extensive moonshine factory in the woods had brought in a lot of needed cash to buy arms and
supplies. So good is the moonshine that Red Dawn makes, that it is often purchased by the
Organization for consumption in Atlantic City. The brand name is Red Dawn of course! But a large
conglomerate of whiskey distillers from Kentucky didn't like Red Dawn stealing their sales, so they
sought to drive Cutter out. A daring raid was made, but not before Cutter had found out about it
first. He managed to get most of his people and equipment out before the raid. A fierce battle
ensued, but Cutter got away. A cousin from Chicago encouraged Cutter to move north, there, he found
a large abandoned warehouse to set up his moonshine operation. Now Red Dawn is as big as before, and
shipments have once again started.
MegaComm - Char-Town (Downtown)
MicroTel is now the largest maker of computers and computer software, MicroTel is the result of
several companies being merged into a larger MegaCom, yet they are a division of UltraTech. This
association has created a powerful giant in the industry, as these two corporations were the two
that offered the most support to the government in it's time of need to meet the year 2000 compliance
problems. Many government secrets were gleaned and brought back to this corporation which has allowed
them to gain the upper hand in the PC market and swallow up many smaller companies. Even now as we speak,
they continue to force their way into larger markets, muscling in on many main frame computer companies
like Sun and HP. MicroTel is now poised to take on the giants in the main frame market like IBM.
Rumors tell of an upcoming raid on IBM's corporate offices.
Vengequan - Char-Town (Old Elgin Suburb)
Chief Black Rain has led his tribe of Vengequan in a never-ending battle against the tyranny of the
MegaComs. His tribe being based out of an old riverboat casino in old Elgin Illinois, Black Rain
has the largest tribe in The Great Lakes area and his control over several riverboat casinos has given
his tribe a good supply of cash. It has also been a thorn in the side of the local Org family.
Organization - Char-Town (North Side)
Once again the name of Capone has struck fear into the residents of Chicago and the Midwest.
Antonio Alphonse Capone has managed to trace his heritage back to the famous Al Capone of the
1920's and moved to Chicago to once again bring the name of Al Capone to the top of organized
crime. Given the go ahead by the Dons of New Jersey, Antonio (or Al as he likes to be called)
moved to Chicago to take over the area and build an empire. Starting in the same way as his
ancestor did, Al opened several Brothels with small gambling operations in the back rooms. Of
course this has lead to the take over of all the Riverboat Casinos in Gary Indiana. Al has even
made a business deal with the local Scarlet Brethren Lodge to supply his casinos and brothels with
alcohol, moonshine too most. The biggest obstacle he now has is trying to take over all the suburban
riverboats run by the local Vengequan tribe
